Not Compatible With: The 300100 is not suitable for newer vehicles equipped with smart towing or advanced trailering systems, including:
- 2020+ Chevy/GMC trucks with Smart Tow and Advanced Trailering systems.
- 2015-2024 Ford F-150, 2016-2024 F-250, and 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma and Tundra trucks.
- Alternate Option: If you own a 2020+ Ford, Toyota, or other newer vehicle with a Smart Tow system, consider the 300200 model, which includes additional wiring to connect directly to your truck's battery and bypass the advanced towing system.

What else would I need to make the electronic locks and reverse lights work with my 2019 gmc sierra 1500 slt?
You will need the wiring harness for the keyless entry door if you don't have it already. Unfortunately, it is not available separately at this time, you would have to purchase the complete keyless entry door kit.

You will need the 300200 to bypass the towing system that is tied into the ECM for the truckEZ Wheeler Team

I have 2007 new style Silverado 1500 LT with a 7 pin plug. Will this work for my truck? According to the application chart, it appears that it needs to be 2008 or newer.

not sure about the color codes but the t harness provides a constant 12 volt power to the cap

no, all these harnesses do is brake and dome light - 12volt auxiliary

I understand how the seven way connects into the wiring behind the bumper, but my brake light on the camper has only two wires. How will those connect to the four-way plug?
There are 2 different style connectors in the package a 6 pin for the Leer fuse box and a 4 pin for the rest of the brands. You will insert the wires into whichever connector you need to match your top.

Does this install in behind the bumper so that it's concealed, and the external bumper mounted plug still operates? Or does this connect to the external bumper plug itself and T from there?

Yes, they both install behind the bumper so that you can still use the external plug for your trailer and not affect usability

What is the difference between the 300200 & 300100?

300200 is for the newer Fords and Toyotas that require external power source due to the smart towing system. It includes extra wire to run to the battery which is why there is more cost to it. The 300100 fits pretty much everything else
